Description

Irish Botanica Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum) is called “lingzhi” in Chinese, which translates literally to “Mushroom of Immortality”. Reishi is traditionally associated with supporting the immune system.

There are many beneficial compounds found in Reishi, including triterpenoids, which are used as an anti-inflammatory, polysaccharides, which are beneficial to structural support, and peptidoglycans, which help support bacterial cells(Cör, Knez and Knez Hrnčič, 2018). For a long time, the reishi mushroom has been quite popular as a traditional eastern herbal remedy.
